About Us

Safe Haven Supportive Care was created by 3 women with a passion for supporting others. Driven by their goal to provide quality care and supports to help others on their life journey.

With decades of experience working with departments of health, education, justice and community services we provide a wealth of knowledge, understanding and expertise to provide high quality care.

We offer an alternative to current care providers one that supports the whole person to live, learn, grow & thrive in their homes and community.

Safe Haven Supportive Care is a small options home based in the Annapolis Valley. We have the ability to provide respite and temporary emergency arrangement placements for adults and children in the care of the Department of Opportunity and Social
Development (DOSD). Safe Haven also has the ability to provide housing for persons placed in our care in various communities in the Annapolis Valley and Halifax Regional Municipality. We are working towards licensing our facilities and working closely with DOSD to help fulfill client needs. Our services are not only limited to Temporary Emergency Arrangement (TEA) and small options housing, but also providing respite services, educational tutoring supports, counseling and therapeutic supports, and much more. Safe Haven has established many community partnerships to help enrich the lives of all clients we work with, this has come to fruition through many years of working within our community and closely with these organizations.
